I teach Biology I and IB Biology at Aspen High School.  I've been teaching various subjects since my start at this school, including geology, physics, biology II, chemistry, and special education!  I'm dedicated to help students succeed to the best of their potential, and I encourage every student to take advantage of all their resources.  Please stop by my office in Room 1195 to say hello.
I love the Experiential Education program at our school, and am happy to offer Adventures in Zion course.  In the past I have led courses that took students to Havasupai, the Channel Islands, Aspen's winter backcountry, and Puerto Rico!
When not in school, I'm likely traveling, camping, rock and ice climbing, skiing, snowboarding, or on my mountain bike...but that doesn't mean I'm always outdoors!... I also love to read and paint with watercolors.  My sidekick, Zanzibar, is a fuzzy pup who joins me on most of my adventures (She's climbed four 14'ers!).
