I teach Biology I and IB Biology at Aspen High School. I've been teaching various subjects since my start at this school, including geology, physics, biology II, chemistry, and special education! I'm dedicated to help students succeed to the best of their potential, and I encourage every student to take advantage of all their resources. Please stop by my office in Room 1195 to say hello.
I love the Experiential Education program at our school, and am happy to offer the Desert Warriors course. In the past I have led courses that took students to Havasupai, the Channel Islands, Aspen's winter backcountry, Zion National Park, and Puerto Rico!
I also coach the high school Climbing Team. We are an inclusive club and invite all levels of interest and ability to join.
When not in school, I'm likely traveling, camping, rock and ice climbing, skiing, snowboarding, or on my mountain bike...but that doesn't mean I'm always outdoors! I also love to read, garden, and paint with watercolors. I also spend summers training and fundraising for both the Denver and Maine Tri for the Cure events.
