Ms. Christine Gray

Always fascinated by who we are, how we relate, and how we grow and develop optimally I studied psychology in my spare (!) time while practicing law in my native England.

After migrating to Colorado I took the opportunity to do my Master’s degree in counseling and discovered a love of and a gift for working with children.

Subsequently I trained in play therapy with Felicia Carroll of the West Coast Gestalt Institute and then worked with the supervision of Dr. Eric Green (who uses Jungian-oriented play therapy).

I use an integrated approach to practice; drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and depth psychology as well as using a family systems lens to help families. I am studying with the Sandplay Therapists of America currently and intend to obtain a Sandplay Therapist accreditation.

I am a committed yoga practitioner and snowboarder. I love to travel and leanrn languages.

My Mission as School Counselor is to support the social and emotional lives of our children so that they are available to learn.

My Belief is that social and emotional well-being is as essential to learning as good teaching.
