Ms. Christine Gray

I have always been fascinated by who we are, how we how we grow and develop optimally and how we relate and so  I studied psychology in my spare (!) time while practicing law in my native England.

After migrating to Colorado I took the opportunity to do my Master’s degree in counseling and discovered a love of and a gift for working with children.

Subsequently I trained in play therapy with Felicia Carroll of the West Coast Gestalt Institute and then worked with the supervision of Dr. Eric Green (who uses Jungian-oriented play therapy).

I have an integrated approach to practice; drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and depth psychology as well as using a family systems lens to help families. I am currently  working toward a Sandplay Therapist accreditation.

I am a committed yoga practitioner and snowboarder. I love to travel and leanrn languages.

My Mission as School Counselor is to support the social and emotional lives of our children so that they are available to learn.

My Belief is that social and emotional well-being is essential to our optimal functioning and that it shoudl receive equal care and attention as physical health.
