SENIORS - CLASS of 2019
All Seniors may request two individual meetings with College Counseling and one application submission meeting this semester. If you have not already done so, please see Susanne in the Mezzanine to schedule your appointments with Charlie or Melissa. Senior Roundtables are offered every Wednesday night (from 5-7pm in the Seminar Room) through December 19th (except 11/21) where professional tutors and trained volunteers are on hand to help students one-on-one with essays and supplements. The entire College Counseling Team is available during Access for quick questions, check-ins, Naviance help, etc.
Please make sure that your Naviance list of "colleges I am applying to" is accurate and that all deadlines are listed properly. A transcript request form (pink sheet) should also be on file with Susanne.
Remember, students (not AHS) are responsible for ordering ACT or SAT test scores to be sent to schools where you are applying. It can take up to two weeks for scores to arrive, so please plan accordingly. For example, students with November 1st deadlines should order scores no later than October 18th.
Hang in there!
