Greetings from Your Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education Department!
AES is proud of its cultural and linguistic diversity. Throughout the year we have supported students in all grade levels, using our vocabulary rich curriculum, Making Meaning. This literacy curriculum supports our language learners in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each week we are focusing on a new children's literature book, which the children find engaging. We practice retelling, visualizing, summarizing, inferring, and using other strategies as we develop our comprehension skills.
How exciting it is that AES is represented by students from 6 continents, 37 countries, and who speak 23 different languages!

Bienvenido! Willkommen! Aloha! Shalom! Tena Tistilign! Welkom! Velkommen! WELCOME!
