June 13th - 24th
We will take six high school students to Sebastian, Florida, where we take delivery of our Velocity XL RG. During these two weeks, we will work side-by-side the Velocity Factory technicians to learn everything necessary to successfully build our first aircraft. Students will be the first to learn composite fabriation and repairs. They will also be educated on the complete process of our build project so they can in turn teach other students the "how-to" skills they will need to participate in our Aspen AEROBild Academy beginning July 5. There will be cost associated with this vocational opportunity.
These slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Those students interested in this amazing opportunity, complete the form below ASAP! If demand exceeds capacity, students will be selected through an interview process similar to that of our Sister Cities' Program. Sign up here!
This academy will offer high school students the opportunuity to build a real airplane: the Velocity XL RG. Students will learn composite fabrication techniques, electrical and mechanical aircraft systems, assembly procedures, aircraft testing, and maintenance. Whether their interest is aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or maintanence, participants gain valuable experience. Also, while building an airplane, students will build quite a resume. There will be a cost associated with this vocational opportunity. Sign up here!
This two week Academy, taught by Mr. Roark, will combine our two College and Career STEM Pathways; Engineering and Piloting.
Each two week course is $700.00 and is limited to 8 students per course. If a student wants to participate in both the morning and afternoon courses, the cost will be $1,200 and we will provide lunch for the students who take both courses. Sign up here!

- In the afternoon course, students can participate in our first LEVEL IV Simulations Course. This is an IFR flight simulations course for students who have completed the LEVEL III course. It combines instrument departures, enroute segments, and instrument approaches in challenging conditions.
