  • State Assessments in April
The Aspen School District believes that one essential part of educating students successfully is assessing their progress in learning to high standards. Done well and thoughtfully, assessments are tools for learning. While it is a parent's right to opt their child out of state mandated assessments, we ask parents to please consider not opting your child out of the next state assessments taking place in April. If you will be exempting your student from testing, please complete this OPT OUT FORM at least two weeks prior to testing so that the school can develop its assessment schedule.
